ICON ICS Team Call

ICON ICS is a headset team call solution that allows wireless group calls to be established between team members at the touch of a button. ICS is perfect for

  • Retail
  • Manufacturing
  • Hospitality

Powerful, affordable, and simple to use, ICS helps the retailer and hotelier maximise customer service and increase productivity.

Supplied as a complete package, ICS is a powerful, secure on-site telephone and communication system designed to replicate the functionality found in larger venues.

Traditional telephone or hosted telephone solutions are designed for offices and do not provide the features that environments with dispersed staff really need. In addition to a very flexible telephone system, ICS provides a secure blanket of wireless voice coverage using tried and tested Professional DECT technology. Managers and other desk based staff can use desk handsets but also have the option to use a small, tough DECT handset when elsewhere on site.

The core of ICS is the automatic Team call facility which allows roaming staff to work wearing a light, comfortable wireless headset and be silently contacted without any disruption to customers and without having to touch the headset.

Managers or other desk users can dial a “group number” from a desk or DECT phone which will immediately connect those group users in a 2-way call allowing free conversation between all parties. For example, in a retail environment, a call to group 312 may connect all of the white goods specialists to answer a customer query. In hospitality, ICS may be deployed during a wedding function and used to direct staff when serving food.

Staff that are wearing headsets can also make a group call by pressing a button on the headset. Up to 3 groups can be defined and activated depending on the type of press - single press; double press or long press.

For example, a customer may ask a staff member about a specific

product. Without leaving the customer, a single press of the headset connects the rest of the sales team and the staff member can ask the question and get the answer. Perfect customer service.

Importantly, staff can continue with their daily tasks without having to stop to take a phone out of their pocket and answer the phone.

Ideal for premises with dispersed staff; sites where staff have dirty hands and are unable to pick up a handset; environments where tasks involve both hands are often being used at the same time.
