IP telephones
Up to 24 approved IP2007 telephones can be connected to Xcelerator IP along with one FXS single line device such as a fax or analogue handset. Xcelerator IP also supports approved Wi-Fi handsets through the integrated wireless access point (WAP). However, the total number of IP telephones (Wi-Fi phones and IP handsets) connected to Xcelerator cannot exceed 24. Xcelerator IP also offers a built in fax/modem tone detection allowing easy connection of a fax machine.
IP trunks
Xcelerator IP provides for up to 8 simultaneaous external SIP trunk calls with three (3) traditional PSTN lines for failover. The Xcelerator IP can also connect to ISDN trunks using an optional ISDN gateway.
Key Features
Direct inward access system (DISA)
DISA allows outside callers to access any extension without going through an operator. DISA provides customised messages and prompts to a caller allowing them to access an extension or leave a message.
Up to 25 voicemail boxes are supported.
Xcelerator IP can send an email notification when a new voicemail has been recorded. The voice message is attached to the email enabling the recipient to listen to the message from anywhere in the world where they have access to email.
There is no need for any external MOH equipment. A built in music on hold feature allows the users to upload their own choice of music (or a message) for playback to callers placed on hold.
The Xcelerator supports 3 party conferencing.
In the event of power failure, Xcelerator IP automatically falls back to PSTN.
