KIRK Handsets

Polycom KIRK handsets are the professional solution for organisations wanting to use wireless handsets in the workplace.

Handsets are designed and built for use in the workplace and are extremely durable unlike consumer-grade phone designs.

The designs are robust but style and functionality are never compromised.

Some handsets are IP rated to resist fluids and dust others are ATEX rated for use in potentially explosive environments.

Polycom produce five styles  of handset; the 2000, 4000, 5000, 6000, and 7000.   Each is designed and tested for use in the workplace.  The result is a handset which is sympathetic with the working environment, suitable for long hours of use, will provide reliable day after day service, and can be integrated with other services

Workplace sympathetic

The wide range of styles means that handsets can be matched to the workplace conditions whether it is an office, factory or a potentially explosive environment.

A full working days use

With a long battery life handsets will operate for the full working day without needing a recharge and in some cases will continue to operate across shifts in companies operating multi shift working.

Reliable daily use

Handsets are designed and built to withstand the rigours of daily use in a busy and/or materially abusive environment typically found in the retail, hotel, hospitality, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors.

Integration with services

Handsets can integrate with and support business processes and third party applications such as,

  • Alarm systems - giving notification of fire, entry, or machinery alarm activation.
  • Staff call systems  - for example nurse call or service call
  • Lone worker solutions - providing notification of an employee in trouble.
  • Site paging systems.
  • Inter-company text services.
