Deployment
A KWS6000 solution comprises of a central KWS6000, KIRK Media Resources, base stations, and repeaters.

The KWS6000 controls the infrastructure elements and provides 32 speech channels. Each deployed Media Resource adds 32 speech channels. The G729 codec option provides 24 speech channels. Base stations connect directly to the LAN and are used to take take the signal into the different areas. Each base station enables 11 simultaneous conversations within its coverage area. Repeaters are used to expand the coverage or take the signal into areas where cabling is difficult - the repeater does not need any physical connection to the base station. Up to 31 Media Resources and 256 wireless units (#1). can be added to a KWS6000.
