KIRK enables Caller ID on standard telephone systems

KIRK Telecom has extended its range with the release of a CLI (caller line identification) version of the popular Wireless Server 500. 

This gives system resellers an alternative to the proprietary integrated DECT solution offered with telephone switches.

The Wireless Server 500CLI displaces the proprietary DECT solution provided as an option on the telephone system with one that delivers:

 KIRK DECT cordless phone Wireless Server 500 for analogue PBX business phone system solutions
  • Superior quality DECT
- the choice of telephone switch does not mean that the quality of the DECT solution needs to be compromised.
  • Transportability
 - changing the telephone switch will not mean changing the DECT solution.
  • Robust handsets
 - handsets are available for operation in hazardous environments.

Launched and proven in the US the unit is now available in the UK from ICON.  Mark Shane, Sales Manager at ICON commented:

The KIRK 500CLI should work with most PBXs which support caller ID on analogue extensions.  As the UK’s leading distributor of KIRK DECT solutions and the provider of first line support in the UK for KIRK DECT, ICON is working closely with KIRK and other vendors to ensure the operation of the KIRK 500CLI on the widest possible range of PBXs.   This work is ongoing but the KIRK500CLI is in stock and available for use on all qualified PBXs.
