Expansion & migration to IP
The Wave IP 2500 platform is scalable, networkable and supports migration to IP. It is available in a Standard, Professional or Enterprise Edition.
Scalable A Wave IP 2500 solution can be scaled to support more digital or analog trunks/stations by adding Wave Expansion Units (EXUs). These stack on to the Wave IP 2500 server. No external cabling or additional hardware configuration is required. Each EXU will support up to 96 additional users or additional trunk capacity. |

A total of 480 additional users can be added to a Professional or Enterprise Edition Wave IP 2500 using 4 EXUs plus the two card slots in the base unit.
Wave’s multi-site capabilities feature robust networking and IP-based management of multiple site deployments.
Migration to IP
Wave includes robust voice gateway capabilities that let you migrate to next-generation IP communications services on your own time line.
Wave supports a full range of IP Codecs as well as SIP trunking services for maximum flexibility.
Wave also supports traditional voice trunk interfaces, including PRI ISDN and analogue trunks.
