Traditional PBX SpectraLink solutions
A Polycom SpectraLink Voice over Wireless LAN (VoWLAN) solution can be deployed on traditionalPBX solutions. When deployed on traditional solutions a SpectraLink 8000 Telephony Gateway is required to provide the interface between the enterprise PBX and a wireless LAN network.
The SpectraLink 8000 Telephony Gateway supports digital and/or analog line interfaces and provides the voice encoding and packetisation required to transmit telephone conversations over an IP network. A SpectraLink 8000 SVP server is required only if the SVP QoS is deployed
