SpectraLink SVP Wi-Fi handset solutions
Polycom SpectraLlink enterprise SVP solutions are available to work with traditional PBX’s or IP-PBX’s. When used with an IP telephony server, a Polycom SpectraLink solution can scale to support more than 800 simultaneous calls or approximately 8000 users. Depending on the solution an enterprise SpectraLink on-site mobility solution consists of,
- SpectraLink handsets - selected to suit the work environment and the QoS standard
- SpectraLink 8000 Telephone Gateway - needed only for traditional PBX solutions
- SpectraLink 8000 SVP server/s - needed if the QoS standard is SVP
- SpectraLink Open Application Interface (OAI) - needed to support text messaging solutions
- Approved access points (AP's) for the QOS standard used - ( SVP compatible AP's. )
