MESSAGEmanager does the rest - converting rich text, word processing documents, spreadsheets and presentations into fax with the fonts, formats and graphics intact note 1.
Key features
MESSAGEmanager FAX provides,
- Message scheduling - Faxes can be scheduled as urgent, normal or deferred to an off-peak time.
- Cost allocation - The cost of the fax can be charged to a job or department.
- Easy addressing - Fax addresses can be maintained in the Global or Personal Address Books or Contact Database. You can send to an ad hoc fax number. In addition to the fax number, name and company fields, you can also specify a destination account code and a cover page.
- Customised cover pages - Cover pages can be customised to include details from Active directory, company name and logo, number of pages, subject, recipient's name, organisation and fax number, date & time of transmission, sender name, organisation and fax number
- Automatic notifications - You are automatically notified by mail of the success or failure of the transmission and the cost of the call and if required you can receive a copy of the sent fax. Should the transmission fail, you are advised of the reason for failure.
- Thumbnail displays - Messages are delivered in TIFF or PDF format as a mail attachment and can be displayed on your workstation or printed. Any image viewer can be used to display and print the fax image.
- Routing to a users mailbox - Incoming faxes can be routed direct to user mailboxes by mapping DID numbers to users mailboxes. Routing to public folders, redirection to a printer or manual routing by the Administrator to a user's mailbox is also supported.
- Load sharing, redundancy, fallback strategies - Global Routing can be used to manage multiple fax resources across an organisation to achieve load sharing, redundancy and fallback strategies.
- Cost reduction - Global Routing can be used to manage multiple fax resources across an organisation to achieve best cost routing.
The FAX Server
Each Server can support up to 120 lines. Multiple machines can be configured for backup, load sharing and least cost routing over the Internet to a Server ideally located to send the message, based on call costs, processing capacity and workload
With many fax solutions, provisioning for fax services in remote offices means installing a fax solution at each location. With MESSAGEmanager T.38 IP FAX you eliminate the need to deploy and maintain remote fax servers.

The location of the MESSAGEmanager T38 IP FAX server is independent of the location of the PSTN access point. The MESSAGEmanager T38 IP FAX server simply needs access to a data network, Local Area Network (LAN) or Wide Area Network (WAN), where the IP routers reside.
The IP routers provide the interface to the PSTN and documents remain digital over VoIP-enabled networks - including WANs and VPNs - until they reach the PSTN endpoint closest to the destination.
Note1: Multiple Fax Conversion Engines provide fast and efficient conversion for all Windows, Exchange and Notes Rich Text, Postscript, PCL, HTML and PDF formats to crisp clear G3 Fax with all the fonts, formats and graphics intact.
