KIRK Wireless Server 1500 - Scalabilty

A single KWS1500 in basic form supports up to 8 base stations and 24 repeaters. The number of base stations and repeaters supported can be increased up to a maximum of 16 and 48 by adding an expansion board.  The capacity can be increased further by linking two KWS1500's with a link card.   When two KWS1500's are linked the number of handsets supported increases from a maximum of 350 (64 for the analogue version) to 700 (128 for the analogue version).

Link Card
A Link Card Package connects two KWS1500's in a master/slave configuration and doubles the maximum capacity of the system to32 base stations, 96 repeaters and 700 handsets (128 for the analogue version).

Expansion Board
An expansion board adds an additional 8 base station capacity to the KWS1500 increasing it to 16 base stations and 48 repeaters.
